LOCAL 483

Welcome to:

The Local 483 Retired Workers Chapter

For a very long time now, CAW Local 483 has been working hard  to create this chapter.

Although there has been great interest in organizing and  having a chapter available for retired members and their spouses or partners, which would also include surviving spouses; retired members were reluctant to come forward and take the lead even though the Local Union was there to provide guidance and assistance.

After many organizational attempts, Local 483 is happy to announce that the first official meeting of

"The CAW Local 483 Retired Workers Chapter"

will take place on Monday November 13th, 2006 at 11am. All retirees, their spouses or partners as well as all surviving spouses have been invited to attend.

Local 483 extends a special thank you to Retired Local 483 member Mitch Collison for volunteering to be our first Chairperson.

The CAW Local 483 Retired Workers Chapter

- Have their meetings on the last Monday of each month  –

At the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 105 – Cardinal

starting at 1:00pm.

We hope to see you there.
